SCOTT KINNEY

Business Development Manager

Scott Kinney is a V.P. of Business Development at First Capital Ventures, specializing in large multi-unit, mixed-use, and commercial building acquisitions across the United States, focusing on B-C Class targets. He has grown both his own real estate portfolio and various investor-centric partnerships nationally.  Throughout his career, Scott has handled 100’s of millions in real estate transactions as an advisor and principal, supplying him a unique skillset to effectively guide Limited and General Partnerships in his investment niche.  Scott possesses strong expertise in financing acquisitions and navigating complex value-add investments. He is very knowledgeable about local regulations, including 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges, HUD 223(f) & 223(a) loans. He recently completed a real estate development program with a national developer to enhance his investment assessments. 

Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Central Washington University. In his leisure time, he enjoys golfing, working out, and spending time with his wife and two active Rottweilers. You can reach Scott at +1-415-640-2841.
